Stephen Drover is the Associate Director for Arts Club Theatre.ย Stephen was Appointed Artistic Director of Rumble Theatre in June 2012. Originally from Newfoundland, he trained at Memorial University (BFA in Acting) and UBC (MFA in Directing), and directs and teaches theatre in British Columbia, and across Canada. He is the founding Artistic Director for Pound of Flesh Theatre (Vancouver), and Associate Director with Theatre Newfoundland Labrador. Stephen sits on Studio 58โs advisory council, has directed new play development processes with Playwrights Theatre Centre, and has been the Project Coordinator for Electric Company Theatre. He is a recipient of the Ray Michal Award for Outstanding Body of Work by an Emerging Director, the Sydney J. Risk Award in Theatre Directing (UBC) and the Canada Council for the Arts Artist-in-Residence Grant. He lives in North Van with his wife and their son.
