She is an accomplished playwright: her plays include <strong><em>BLADE<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Job\u2019s Wife<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Annie Mae\u2019s Movement<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>The Birds<\/em><\/strong> (a modern adaptation of Aristophanes\u2019 comedy), and <strong><em>The Unplugging<\/em><\/strong>. As a director, she has staged many productions for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gwaandaktheatre.ca\/\"><strong>Gwaandak Theatre<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gtnt.ca\/\"><strong>Gordon Tootoosis N\u012bk\u0101n\u012bwin Theatre<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.signaltheatre.ca\/\"><strong>Signal Theatre<\/strong><\/a> (where she is currently an Artistic Associate), <a href=\"http:\/\/globetheatrelive.com\/\"><strong>Globe Theatre<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctlive.ca\/\"><strong>Western Canada Theatre<\/strong><\/a>, and served as the artistic director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nativeearth.ca\/\"><strong>Native Earth Performing Arts<\/strong> <\/a>from 2003 to 2011. She is the author of <strong>Medicine Shows: Indigenous Performance Culture\u00a0<\/strong>(Playwrights Canada Press, 2015).
