September and October were buzzing with creativity at the Phoenix. From welcoming more than 200 artists and guests for the Indigenous Theatre Festival to sharing newcomers’ stories in The Salty Scent of Home (running until Oct.18), it’s been a season full of inspiration. Now we’re thrilled to invite you back for a timeless classic: Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, directed by acclaimed guest artist Soheil Parsa.

The Phoenix Theatre production also underscores the department’s commitment to preparing emerging artists for their careers. MFA student Molly Somers designs both set and costumes after her standout work on last spring’s Twelfth Night (Phoenix Theatre, March 2025). Phoenix alum Logan Swain (Lighting Designer) returns to pursue his Master’s in design, demonstrating how mainstage productions support students at every stage of their journey.
