Parking Areas: The Phoenix Theatre is easily accessible from parking lot 6, with overflow parking in lot 10 on the west side of the UVic Campus. Enter off Gordon Head Road. There is a passenger drop-off area close to the building and several accessible parking stalls for patrons with mobility requirements.

Parking Fees: The University of Victoria charges for parking in all campus parking lots Monday through Saturday. There is no charge for parking on Sundays and all BC statutory holidays. View current parking rates.

Parking can be purchased with coins or credit cards through automated machines at campus entrances and in the parking lot adjacent to the Phoenix Theatre (Lot 6 or 10). Paper permits are no longer issued. Users must enter their licence plate number into the machines when paying. You do not need to return to your car after paying; you may proceed directly to the theatre.

Advanced payment for short-term parking is possible by using UVic’s online payment portal or by downloading and using the HonkMobile App.

The revenue from pay parking offsets the cost of sustainable transportation programs at UVic, including subsidized student bus passes and cycling facilities. For more information, contact Campus Security Services at 250-721-6683.
