Connecting to File Storage remotely via OSX & CIFS

 

    1. Click on the Finder Icon  in the Dock.
    2. Select “Connect to Server” from the “Go” Menu
    3. To connect to your files, enter the address “smb://home.uvic.ca” or “smb://sim.storage.uvic.ca/sim” in the “Server Address” field.
    4. Enter your NETLINK (U-Source) Username and Password and Click “Connect“.
    5. Select the volume you would like and click “OK“
