Jason Stasiuk (BMus ’12)

Jason Stasiuk competed the combined degree in Music and Computer Science in 2012. As an audio engineer, he is passionate about creating the best experience possible for a listener. Whether at live concerts or on headphones, Jason makes it his goal to ensure that the reaction is a positive one for all involved. With experience in studio recording, live sound and tour management, these goals are obtainable and continually achieved.

A participant of the Audio Engineering Work Study program at the Banff Centre of the Arts, Jason worked closely with world-renowned artists in both the classical and popular music fields on live concerts, demo sessions and CD projects. As a freelancer in Calgary, Alberta, Jason has worked at the Alberta Flood Relief Concert, Calgary Folk Festival, Canmore Folk Festival, and Sun and Salsa Festivals.

His portfolio includes recording and engineering projects with Kevin Drew, Henk Guittart, Aidan Knight, Lee Harvey Osmond, CBC Key of A, Good For Grapes, Martyn Joseph, Zerbin. Kara Taylor and Roarshaq

Jason is presently the Artist Liaison with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
