Heather Roche (BMus ’05)

Clarinetist Heather Roche (BMus ’05) has been actively performing since she graduated from UVic in 2005.  With a Masters of Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and a PhD from the University of Huddersfield, Heather now lives in Cologne, Germany.

Heather has performed at some of the major European festivals and has also performed solo recitals with a number of electronic music studios, including CIRMMT (Montreal, Canada) and BEAST (Birmingham, UK). She is a permanent and founding member of the ensemble hand werk (Cologne), which now performs 15-20 concerts a year. She has also performed with musikFabrik (Cologne), ensemble Garage (Cologne), ensemble interface (Berlin), ensemble proton (Bern), and the Low Frequency Orchestra (UK/France).
