This program is designed for pre-formed string quartets (not individuals) embarking on a career in chamber music.

During the two-year program, students will:

  • receive weekly coaching and individual lessons from the Lafayette String Quartet
  • develop and grow both as individuals and as an ensemble
  • develop quartet repertoire
  • gain valuable performance experience
  • hone their skills through various outreach programs and ensembles in the community.

Fellowships, assistantships and scholarships are available.

Serious string quartets of any nationality interested in pursuing a Masters Degree in String Quartet Performance may now apply for the 2018-19 calendar year.
