Had a lovely visit to the beautiful Okanagan, where it is full blown summer (by our mild coastal measures!). Heard some very talented young players at the Vernon Community Music School where my guest class and recital was hosted. BIG thank you to event co-ordinators, Christine Moore (flutist with Okanagan Symphony and flute teacher at Kelowna Community Music School) and Margaret Burton, the flute teacher at the Vernon School.
