Don Wright Symphonic Winds

The Don Wright Symphonic Winds is open to students from all faculties and departments. No audition is required. Students should have previous performance experience in a high school or university concert band (or equivalent experience), an instrument, and a music stand. Some instruments may be available for rental.

**Information session scheduled for Thursday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. in Cornett B112 followed by the first rehearsal at 7:00 p.m.

About the Don Wright Symphonic Winds
The Don Wright Symphonic Winds provides an opportunity for students who wish to play in a concert band and performs a variety of literature from the wind band repertory, including contemporary and traditional wind band works, transcriptions, and marches.

The Don Wright Symphonic Winds performs one concert in the University Centre Farquhar Auditorium each term and occasionally performs other concerts around town.
