About the UVic Chorus
Since the Chorus was formed in 1969, the 150-voice group has performed many of the masterworks for chorus, orchestra, and soloists, including Bach’s Mass in B Minor, Verdi’s Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Haydn’s Creation, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, the War Requiem of Benjamin Britten, and Mahler’s Symphony of a Thousand.

The Chorus is featured in two concerts each year. The Fall 2015 performance includes participation in the all-UVic Choirs Seasonal Christmas Concert at Christ Church Cathedral. The Spring 2016 performance will feature the Duruflé Requiem with the University of Victoria Orchestra.
