POSTPONED – New Student Orientation

Important information and Q&A session required for all new undergraduate and graduate students.

Aug 28 update: the New Student orientation has been postponed due to technical issues. New students will be informed about the new date by email. 

Welcome Package Pick-up (NEW STUDENTS)

Practice room key and locker lock pick-up for new students.

A one-time, refundable cash deposit of $35 is required for practice room keys.
A one-time, non-refundable cash payment of $35 is required for the purchase of a masterlock.

Undergraduate Theory Exemption Test

For undergraduate students who wish to be exempted from MUS 101A, MUS 101B, and/or MUS 201A, 201B. Results will be emailed to students.

Practice Room key pick-up (RETURNING STUDENTS)

Graduate Student Orientation

Information session for all new and returning graduate students.

Fine Arts Orientation

The Dean of Fine Arts invites all first-year & new transfer students in all five of our units to attend this short introduction & overview of the Faculty, including tips from Fine Arts Academic Advising, Co-op + Careers and the Libraries. Students will then break into groups for short, peer-led departmental orientation sessions and facility tours, plus a brief orientation in our computer labs.
