The Victoria Guitar Society‘s opening concert features the spectacular Lovro Peretić — an award-winning guitarist from Croatia. He began studying guitar at a young age, graduating from the Zagreb Academy of Music and spending one year on an exchange program at the École Supérieure Musique et Danse Hauts-de-France, Lille and specializing in music performance at the Haute école de musique de Genève.

Peretić is regarded as one of the leading guitarists of the younger generation, winning numerous prestigious international guitar prizes including the Guitar Foundation of America (GFA), EuroStrings Guitar Competition and Changsha International Guitar Competition.
