Get ready to swing into the rhythm of jazz with the UVic Big Band. Lead by Scott MacInnes, this ensemble of talented UVic School of Music students brings you an evening of big band sounds, powerful solos, soaring brass and driving rhythms.

They will be joined by special guests, the 18-piece Pacific Blue Big Band from the Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy.

Admission is by donation with proceeds benefitting the Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific Scholarship in Music Performance, awarded annually to second- and third-year School of Music students who demonstrate excellence in brass, woodwind, and percussion performance.
