Featuring members of the Lafayette String Quartet (Ann Elliott-Goldschmid, violin, Joanna Hood, viola and Pamela Highbaugh Aloni, cello), the Penderecki String Quartet and QFW’s Scholarship ensemble: The Gaia String Quartet.

The program will include the Gaia String Quartet performing a selection of their current repertoire, the Penderecki Quartet performing movements from Debussy’s String Quartet, and the Mendelssohn Octet with guest violinist Jeremy Potts.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can ($12-$35) and available at the door.

Quartet Fest West runs from June 23-July 4 on the beautiful University of Victoria campus and offers an in-depth study of great chamber music literature with members of the Lafayette String Quartet, the Penderecki String Quartet and violist Yariv Aloni.

In addition to concerts, OPEN MASTERCLASSES will take place from 3:15-5:15PM in the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall on June 24, 25, 26, 30, July 1 and 2. Interested public are welcome to attend. Admission is by donation.
