Ben Butterfield: for your humor, patience, and starting from ground zero with me. The past three years have rebuilt
a once tattered voice into the rich, solid instrument I love and recognize. Thank-you for everything!
Charlotte Hale: twice a week for the past 9 months, you’ve enriched my knowledge on diction, line, breath, and
cohesiveness with ensemble. Thank-you for never letting me get away with anything; Lord knows I’m talented at it.
And THANK-YOU for your brilliance on the piano.
Rebecca, Ingrid, Signi, PON, and Angela: each of you taught me in such a distinct, memorable way that was
essential in leading me to where I am now.
My sweet friends: for joining me in chants, wild antics, and being SO incredibly supportive with my singing;
whether it was sitting quietly with me doing “crafts” (going to Target), or just hushing me, you have all helped this
come together by doing “the little things”. Now it’s time to celebrate, and don’t tell me to be quiet.
My incredible parents: voice lessons, theory, coachings, Tanglewood, Walnut Hill, LSU, UVic, Circle in the
Square, tears, nodules, countless doctors appointments, and everything else I couldn’t fit in this small space:
