Art as Play: Imagination in Motion explores the dynamic intersections between creativity, experimentation, and playful expression in the art world. We turn our attention to art’s playful spirit, examining how fantasy, spontaneity and spectacle can reinvigorate artistic practice and invite new forms of engagement.
This conference invites presentations that investigate the endless dimensions of play within the artistic imagination. From reclaiming naivety to bold innovations in game art, animation, and participatory practice, we look at how artists challenge traditional boundaries and create spaces of joy, experimentation, and interaction.
