How have your History in Art studies helped you since you graduated?
My degree from UVic lead to many exciting opportunities, such as working as a curatorial assistant and a position with a leading gallery of contemporary art in Canada. I am now building upon my studies at UVic by undertaking a PhD in Art History at Concordia University in Montreal.


Brief Biography
Melba Dalsin is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Art History at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She is researching the role of photography in the documentation, conceptualization, and pedagogy of Modernist sculpture, and exploring how photographs of the sculptor in her studio are involved in the creation of an artistic identity.
