Now working on my PhD in the same field. 


Brief Biography
David Christopher is currently a PhD Candidate (ABD) in Cinema and Cultural Theory at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. David also holds an MA in Cinema and Cultural Theory, and an MA in Theatre History from the University of Victoria; and an honours degree in English, and a degree in Economics and English from Carleton University in Ontario, Canada. David has recent publications in the Intellect Group’s Horror Cinema and FilmInt, the Canadian cinema journal CineAction, Western University’s Word Hoard, the Online Journal of Arts and Humanities, and in the U.K.’s Theatre Notebook. David has participated as a presenting delegate in various bureaus and conferences including the Film Studies Association of Canada’s Conferences, the University of Victoria’s annual Medieval Conference and Visual Impetus Conferences, and the Pacific Northwest Renaissance Conferences. Areas of study include Canadian horror cinema, horror and apocalypse cinema, science-fiction and fantasy cinema, theatre and cinema, Shakespeare and cinema, Soviet cinema, cultural theory, Anarchist theory, neo-Marxism, postmodernism, and repression theory.
