How have your History in Art studies helped you since you graduated?
I view my undergraduate degree from the History in Art program was a stepping stone to a career in Art Conservation. My time at UVIC helped guide me towards a field that brings together my art history research skills and my love for working hands-on with artifacts. Since graduating I’ve relocated to Toronto to work in the heritage sector, as both a Conservation assistant and a Collections Manager. The program at UVic was a good introduction to art and artifacts. The hands on approach, working with the UVic collection, is an asset for anyone looking to work in museums as basic handling knowledge a sought after skill.

Brief Biography
I am currently working towards a post graduate certificate in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management at Fleming College, set to graduate in 2016. I am also the Infinite Reach Facilitator for Fleming, through the Métis Nation of Ontario.
