A workshop in which the students are instructed in the writing of creative nonfiction.
This advanced workshop course gives students an opportunity to develop and practice their writing skills. Ideally they will produce material that is ready for publication. To this end, they will generate ideas and submit drafts for three separate nonfiction essays. After receiving in-class and written feedback from workshop peers, they will hand in substantively revised final editions for grading.
Instructor: Course#: WRIT 316 Prerequisites: 204. Note: Credit will not be granted for 316 and CW 316A, 316B. May be repeated once. This course may count either toward a Major in Writing or toward a Professional Writing Minor, not both. Class size is limited.
