How to Apply - Undergraduate

The Department offers two undergraduate programs:

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Visual Arts
Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor of Science, Combined Major in Visual Arts and Computer Science Program (in co-operation with the Department of Computer Science)

How to Apply

If you are applying to the University of Victoria for the first time, please follow these steps to apply via the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Students returning to UVic must reregister via the Office fo the Registrar.

If you wish to transfer from another UVic faculty or department, please apply to transfer via the Office fo the Registrar.

Portfolio

A portfolio, image list, and questionnaire must be submitted to the Department of Visual Arts as part of your application. The portfolio requirements and the forms you need are available for download as a single interactive PDF here:

You can either fill out the forms on a computer and add the completed PDF to your submission disk, or print the PDF, fill it out by hand, and submit the completed forms along with your submission disk.
