I believe that Nature and Spirit are very closely entwined and by evoking the one I attempt to suggest the other in my work. Because mylar is a material that absorbs and diffuses light beautifully, I emply it as my surface, thereby creating a vision of shimmering light and beauty to engage the viewer.

I choose to suspend my piece away from the wall so that the slightest breeze will cause it to gently move, adding to the play of light and movement on the painted surface.
