Our Phoenix patrons…

• support the education of our students as they learn about theatre in all its aspects, on stage and backstage,
• enjoy a range of theatre not found anywhere else in Victoria,
• participate in exciting department initiatives like our “Spotlight on Alumni” and annual Festival of Innovative and New Drama, and,
• help nurture the next generation of  theatre artists in Canada.

But did you know…

• our academic funding does not cover the costs of staging our productions,
• we receive no government grants like local arts organizations,
• we keep our subscription rates deliberately low to remain as accessible as possible to the community,
• our ticket prices cover only two thirds of our production costs so we rely on donations to balance our budgets and remain fiscally responsible, and,
• we can give tax receipts for all donations.
