Visual Resources Collection

The History in Art Visual Resources Collection houses approximately 160,000 images of art, architecture, and related subjects. The collection, comprised of slides and digital images, has been developed to include a wide variety of world cultures, reflecting the department’s inclusive curriculum.

The digital collection is available to Fine Arts faculty, staff, and students currently enrolled in a Fine Arts degree program or Fine Arts course. Eligible users can login to the digital image database (known as DIDO) by using their UVic Netlink ID.
